But it doesn’t stop there. Through search engine optimisation we optimise your listing to attract as much attention on the search engines as possible and as the list and website grow, the more exposure everyone will get. At the moment the power lies in your optimised archive listing as the opt-in email list is still small and growing. Any event submissions will be removed once they have occured/expired and general advertisement submissions will be categorised and listed for 12 months (if they are not tied to specific dates).
Duplicate (or something deemed to be duplicate) submissions will not be re-entered into the archive. All submissions show on the main archive page until they are worked down by other submissions (5 listings on the main archive page) or expire (for events or date tied submissions like specials etc).
Guidelines for submissions:
Width restrictment of images of 650 pixels.
Height restrictions for full JPG mailers of 1200 pixels.
Total File Size Restriction of 200kb.
Number of words restriction: 500 words
No restrictions on contact information, allthough we reserve the right to approve all listings before submission.
Date to be provided for your submission (to verify availability).
Cost at present (launch special) is R500 per submission (no VAT charged) and includes your listing on the archive. Keep in mind that any subsequent mailers will also send people to the listing archive as an archive link is presented within each mailer that goes out. Over the next few months, as the list grows the cost will increase, so best to get in now.
I am an SEO and email marketing specialist and will continue to improve on the listing archive to ensure that it gets solid exposure over time (through SEO), not only through the newsletter submissions. Various techniques will be applied to the entire site as exposure and demand grows.
